With the attraction lineup, lands, and opening date for Epic Universe all still a mystery, the theme park world can now engage in one of its favorite pastimes: wild speculation.
The location will feature “an entertainment center, hotels, shops, restaurants and more,” but there was no discussion about what intellectual properties would be utilized or even when the new park would open.
Universal Orlando will make a “major” announcement at a press conference on Aug. 1 at the Orange County Convention Center, not far from the 541-acre site likely to be used for Universal's next theme park.
