It's the first time the 2003 film has been featured at Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights, but Universal Studios Hollywood has based three houses around it at past events.
For its 20th anniversary, Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will feature a new haunted house and three new scare zones.
Universal revealed the scare zones for the event, confirmed the return of the Academy of Villains, and mentioned another “brand-new show that will debut for the first time ever at Halloween Horror Nights.”
Just one day after revealing Jordan Peele’s “Us” for the event, Universal announced another original house named Graveyard Games.
Not only does the house fit with this year’s 1980s theme, but Universal has a history of turning popular scare zones from one HHN into houses for the next event.
An original concept developed in-house at Universal, Yeti: Terror of the Yukon will be set in a remote part of Canada during an Arctic blizzard.
