The Orlando Pride won its first away game in team history on Friday night with a 1-0 victory over the Houston Dash at BBVA Compass Stadium. The Dash were playing without superstar Carli Lloyd who was injured on April 24 versus the Pride in Orlando. Becky Edmonds spectacular 81st minute goal lifted the Pride to its fourth win of the season. The Pride continue a four game road swing on Saturday in Kansas City against the two-time defending NWSL Champions FC Kansas City.

On Saturday night, Orlando City SC won its first game in seven with a 2-1 win thanks to a Cyle Larin brace over Montreal. Larin now has six league goals this season. The Lions victory put them right back into a playoff spot in the weak Eastern Conference. Though hints of offside were certainly there on Orlando’s winning goal, the Lions faithful won’t complain.

Orlando City SC next faces Eastern Conference leaders Philadelphia Union on Wednesday night at the Citrus Bowl. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm.

Finally, Orlando City B defeated defending USL Champion Rochester 2-1 at the Titan Soccer Complex. Hadji Barry who grew up in Rochester scored both Orlando B goals. Barry, of course was this season’s first round pick in the MLS Superdraft for the Lions after a standout college career at UCF.
