Infected computer systems at three University of Central Florida on-campus restaurants has resulted in hundreds of cases of possible credit card fraud.

Jessica Bakeman of POLITICO Florida reports police investigating more than 200 reports of fraud at UCF found computer systems used for processing sales were infected by malware.

AD Food Services, the company operating Asian Chao, Huey Magoo’s and the Corner Café at the UCF Student Union, has been instructed by police to stop taking credit and debit cards the security breach is resolved.

The malware appears to be unrelated to an earlier cyberattack compromising the Social Security numbers of approximately 63,000 current and former students and staff.
