As of 3 p.m. Friday, 1 million Florida electricity customers were without power due to the effects of Hurricane Matthew.
According to a chart from Gov. Rick Scott‘s press office, there were over 197,000 without power in Brevard County, over 90,000 in Duval County, over 250,000 in Volusia County, over 50,000 in both St. Johns and St. Lucie counties, over 30,000 in Palm Beach County.
In Orange County, there were almost 70,000 without power.
In Lake County, there were 16,000, and in Osceola County, only 1,500.
The total number adds up to 10 percent of the entire state going without power right now.
