Eatonville Mayor Eddie Cole is the latest to endorse Bob Cortes in his bid for re-election to House District 30.
Cole cited Cortes’ commitment to education and more jobs, as well as his general leadership skills, as the reasons he was supporting him.
“Bob Cortes has done a good job for us, and I am proud to support him,” said Cole. “We need his steady leadership in Tallahassee to continue fighting for more jobs and better education for our area and the entire state.”
Cole, who was first elected to the Eatonville Town Council in 1989, is most known for founding Every Kid Outreach, which offers recreational opportunities for children.
“I am honored by Mayor Cole’s support,” said Cortes. “I appreciate his leadership, and I look forward to continuing to work with him and other local leaders to strengthen our economy and create more opportunity for everyone.”
Cortes is facing Democrat Ryan Neal Yadav in the November general election.
