The Tampa Bay Rowdies of the North American Soccer League (NASL) have signed a partnership deal to televise all of the club’s home matches. Beginning with the season opener against Indy Eleven on April 2, the Rowdies will air their home games exclusively on Bright House Sports Network (BHSN) . This new package will include the airing of games in the Orlando/Daytona Beach Media Market on BHSN.

With Bright House Networks we will be able to showcase our attack-minded style of play to soccer enthusiasts and families around the state.”
The NASL kicks off this Saturday, a week after Orlando City B began play in the rival USL league. The Rowdies BHSN deal will allow the NASL club whose history spans back to 1975 an opportunity to spread its brand in Central Florida in competition the bigger Orlando City organization. The deal is an outstanding one for the Rowdies, coming five years after the club’s previous BHSN deal expired at the end of the 2011 NASL Season. More soccer on Central Florida television sets benefits all parties connected to the sport in the region.
