Political season continues with candidates shaking hands and raising funds while running aggressively in Florida, the third-most populous state of the union. So where can you find candidates rallying support near you?

Republican gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis rallies voters in Sarasota today. The former Ponte Vedra congressman will speak at Dolphin Aviation, a popular gathering locale for major GOP events, at 2:45 p.m., according to the Republican Party of Sarasota.

Meanwhile, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum and U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson lead a list of major Democratic candidates attending the Pinellas County Democratic Party Wave to Victory Gala. The 6 p.m. dinner at Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park will also attract Attorney General nominee Sean Shaw, Chief Financial Officer nominee Jeremy Ring, and Agriculture Commissioner nominee Nicki Fried to Pinellas.

Then on Sunday, Gillum will attend a Forward Florida event in New Jersey on Sunday . U.S. Sen. Cory Bookerand Gov. Phil Murphy represent some of the most high-profile hosts for the fundraiser.
