Pete Crotty

Former Orange County Mayor Rich Crotty is among the headliners for a Sunday evening fundraiser set for his brother Pete Crotty‘s bid to be elected this fall to the Orange County Commission in District 3.

The fundraiser also will feature the backing of one of Crotty’s key opponents in the Aug. 28 preliminary election, former Belle Isle Commissioner Bobby Lance.

Crotty faces Mayra Uribe in the Nov. 6 runoff election after the pair finished second and first in the six-candidate Aug. 28 election. Lance finished third. Also listed among the hosts is Westgate timeshare mogul David Siegel and developer Bob Harrell.

The fundraiser takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. at Fish on Fire, the Conway-area restaurant. District 3 covers much of south-central Orange County.

Uribe has a fundraiser of her own featuring major hosts next week, notably Mayor-elect Jerry Demings and former Orange County Chair Linda Chapin.
