Orange County Property Appraiser Rick Singh is teaming up with local Chambers of Commerce for a Wednesday night event to help spread the word on what his office and local chambers can do for area taxpayers.
“I serve the people of this county by appraising property for tax purposes and providing a fair and equitable tax roll. Within that realm, we offer an array of services that residents and business owners should take advantage of, but may not be aware of,” Singh said.
“By hosting this event with local chambers, we’re not only helping taxpayers, we’re also promoting small business and economic growth in our area.”
Singh’s office has partnered with local chambers for similar events in the past, and said he hopes the 2018 “Business After Hours” event can serve to both educate the community on services offered through his office and how local chambers can help area business owners.
The event will run from 6 pm to 8:30 pm in the SunTrust Center lobby in Downtown Orlando, 200 S. Orange Ave. Those interested in attending can find more information and RSVP via the event Facebook page, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or by calling 407-836-5911.
Through Feb. 27, the property appraiser’s office is also operating several satellite offices to help Orange County residents learn about and sign up for programs such as the Homestead or Veterans Exemptions.
A full list hours and locations for the satellite offices can be found on the Orange County Property Appraiser website. Residents who need more information on what documents to bring before making the trek can call the office’s customer service line at 407-836-5044.
