The Florida Realtors Association will host an April 18 campaign fundraiser for Marlene O’Toole, the Lady Lake Republican announced Monday.
The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the FRA’s office on Monroe Street and will benefit the current House District 33 representative’s campaign for state senate in the newly redrawn Senate District 12.
For more information or to RSVP for the event, contact Mackenzie Hellstrom at firstname.lastname@example.org.
O’Toole, who faces term limits in the House, filed to run for the Florida Senate in early March and will face fellow Republicans Rep. Dennis Baxley and David Gee, not to be confused with the Hillsborough County Sheriff of the same name, in the primary race for the heavily GOP district.
Neither O’Toole nor Gee, who filed Thursday, have filed their first campaign finance report. Baxley, who has been running for Senate since before the districts were redrawn, had about $105,000 on hand heading into March.
