Central Florida Grassroots Progressives will meet Saturday to watch and discuss the live streaming of the ACLU‘s launch of People Power.

The group, which formed in February, had 130 people attend its first meeting. They have 350 people on their mailing list and are expecting another large crowd for this event, according to Janan Smither, one of the group’s organizers.

Participants will watch the ACLU’s Resistance Training and talk about what is being done to resist President Donald Trump’s attacks on basic freedoms. Attendees are asked to bring a potluck dish to share.

The meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Richard’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 5151 Lake Howell Rd, Winter Park.

Space is limited. Reservations can be made at:
