The Frozen Summer Games are returning to Disney’s Blizzard Beach as local theme parks ramp up activities to compete with the newest water park in town.

The twist on the Olympic Winter Games was introduced last year. Guests will again join Team Kristoff or Team Olaf to compete in Ice Pail Relays, a Snowball Toss, Ski Pole Limbo and Slide Races. Kids can participate in crafts, games and dance poolside as a DJ spins the latest hits.

An added feature will be an opportunity to meet and photograph Frozen characters, Kristoff and Olaf.

The ski resort that melted into a water park opened 22 years ago and while Disney has upgraded the attraction through the years, it will be competing this summer with Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay water park, which opens May 25th. Disney upgraded Typhoon Lagoon in March with a new ride, Miss Adventure Falls.

The games begin May 26th.
