Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam will be the featured guest at a campaign meet and greet next week hosted by the Republican Party of Seminole County.
According to the invite, Putnam, the newly announced Republican gubernatorial candidate, will discuss “his vision for Florida’s future and how he will always put Florida First.”
Putnam will be at the Eastmonte Civic Center, Tuesday, May 16th. Doors open at 1:00 PM; event begins at 1:30 PM.
Registration is available eventbrite.com and also on-site the day of the event.
The Seminole County GOP is made up of members representing the county’s 80 precincts.
“Our purpose is to uphold the principles of freedom, equality, and justice on which the Republican Party and the government of this nation is founded, as set forth in the Constitution of the United States and the state of Florida,” says the invite.
As the first Republican to enter the governor’s race, Putnam has become the clear frontrunner, with more than $7 million in his campaign account, a result of years of building a donor network. Putnam, who spent 10 years in Congress and four years in the state legislature, is part of an influential family with citrus and cattle interests in Polk County.
Eastmonte Civic Center is at 830 Magnolia Dr. In Altamonte Springs.
